HEART Women & Girls promotes sexual health and sexual violence awareness in faith-based communities through health education, advocacy, research and training. Our vision is to create “leaders of wellness,” who are young girls and women inspired by their faith, to become the voices for health and wellness in their communities.
Women’s Health Foundation has been committed to improving the pelvic health and wellness of all women and girls since 2004. Due to tremendous response from its adult audience,
WHF has developed adolescent pelvic health education and programming. As the nation’s most visible and passionate champion of women’s pelvic health issues, WHF connects, educates, and enables women to live fuller, more active, healthier lives by driving cutting-edge research initiatives, developing and offering community-based education and fitness programs, while fostering conversation and creating communities for women, and serving as a national resource on pelvic wellness issues.
Below Your Belt, Conversations with HEART is made possible by a generous grant from the Chicago Foundation for Women whose mission is to improve the lives of women and girls through grants, advocacy, leadership development, and public and grantee education. Since 1985, CFW has given more than 3,000 grants totaling over $20 million and helped thousands of women and girls become philanthropists. Their “chief belief” is that when women and girls are secure, whole communities are made better.
